The Veterinary Assistant course is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain an entry-level position in animal hospitals, veterinary clinics, animal shelters and laboratories. In this program, you’ll learn how to support animal doctors and technicians in their daily task and your responsibility of the humane care of animals. The Veterinary Assistant program also includes 100 hours of externship experience to better prepare you for a job in the field of veterinary medicine and being a valuable part of an animal health care team.
